Wow! So far, Saddam has been brilliant. I am amazed.
Everyone, even the Pentagon, has always acknowledged that the great weakness in Washington's plan would be the occupation, not the invasion.
By forcing the US to stop and deploy defenses for its supply lines -- meaning to control territory -- Saddam is forcing them to go to occupation right away.
In other words, the war is not yet two weeks old and he is already forcing them into a repeat of Vietnam.
