Dear Editor:

    Your February 14th editorial "Saddam and the Next 9/11," states that the 9/11 attack was unprovoked.

    The U.S. government has meddled in the Islamic world for decades, supplying money, weapons, ammunition and other forms of aid to one dictator after another. All these dictators have enemies, so now their enemies are our enemies.

    Unprovoked? Hardly.
